Apprenticeship Week 2023

NAW2023 Full colour CMYK

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2023 is ‘Skills for Life’. The week will reflect on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and help businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with skills for the future.

Over the course of the week there will be opportunities to learn about a variety of careers that can be accessed via the apprenticeship route and also how the apprenticeship route can help students succeed in the world of work.

Below are a series of resources that have been provided by the National Apprenticeships website to support teachers, students and parents/carers to find out more about the apprenticeship programmes.
"Everything I need to know about apprenticeships", resources are an excellent introduction to apprenticeships, providing clear information about what an apprenticeship is, how to apply for an apprenticeship programme as well as dispelling some myths about what apprenticeships are (or are not). This resource pack is useful for students and parents/carers alike:

The apprentice arcade provides students with a series of games that have been created to engage students in your classroom, or set them enjoyable (yet educational) home learning tasks through the brilliant new Apprenticeship Arcade. The suite of games will provide interactive and fun ways for students to explore and learn about apprenticeships, whilst working in groups or individually.
