Senior Prefect Head of House Francis
Saint Francis
This role is important to me as I feel as if I have always had a prominent role in the Academy, as I have done many extra-curricular activities, such as Cornerstone, Choir, Young Magistrates and much more. I have always tried to be a role model during these clubs, which helped me create a bond with younger students.
By doing this, I have learnt good leadership skills, excellent teamwork and also, I have been given amazing opportunities by participating in these clubs.
During my time in All Saints, I have transformed from a nervous and confused year 7, to a more confident and hard-working year 11. I have learned to always push myself at All Saints, which is partly why I applied for Head of St. Francis. I feel as if I implement the house values of Peace and Justice quite well, as can often be seen throughout Francis house.
Ultimately, I would like to achieve a goal that is well known in the Academy, as it is our ethos - "every child matters equally to God". To achieve this, I would like to create a safe space and environment for younger students to come and express their concerns, so that everybody in the academy feels safe and welcomed.
