Head Prefect Curriculum

My name is Chizara, and I am the head Girl for Curriculum this year at All Saints academy. My role in the school is to make sure each department in the school is well supported with the help of the prefects, making sure to spread a positive message about learning to the student body. I am thrilled to be working with, and leading the team of curriculum prefects and I cannot wait for us to accomplish our plans.

Across my time in All Saints Academy, I have taken part in a multitude of enrichment activities. Through our various mentoring programmes I have built up my leadership skills and it has helped my appreciate the curriculum on a deeper level. Also, by achieving Cultural Capital status and the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award, I value the importance of keeping up morale while actively working towards a goal as a team. My involvement with the school production of Peter Pan has taught me the importance of putting effort and time into project and has shown me the value of outstanding teamwork. Various activities such as the Magistrates Mock Trials have taught me dedication, public speaking and problem-solving. Finally, Girlguiding has helped instil the fundamentals of leadership in me.

My aims for this academic year are to have strong and supported departments so students can excel this year. I am looking forward to this academic cycle and I cannot wait to have meetings with my prefect and junior prefect teams to start our journey to success.
