Assistant Head Girl Curriculum
Year 11
My name is Lacey, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be assistant head girl of curriculum. My target for this year is to ensure that all students feel secure and confident in their subjects and have a clear understanding of how to balance their academic studies, extracurriculars, and free time. As well as this I want to be a role model who students feel they can confide in and ask for help whenever it’s needed.
Throughout the year as the assistant head, I want to assist in helping younger years transition across from year 6 to secondary education and support y8’s in their transition to GCSE subjects. Furthermore, I want to encourage teamwork and aspiration onto the students by showing it’s better to ask for help than struggle, and they should strive to be their best selves.
My experiences in All Saints Academy have helped me thoroughly develop my skills as a leader and as a person, the school offers so much support and extracurricular activities for all students to feel there is something they like. Moreover, I can’t wait to encourage and support my peers across the school in this role and show there are so many opportunities that this school provides to help you grow and become a better person academically and socially.
Overall, this role is a wonderful opportunity and will help me significantly in the future, and I aspire to empower everyone to get involved with charity, support others, and not dismiss great opportunities. I look forward to achieving these goals by working with my fellow student leadership team and the teachers who support us.
