Senior Prefect Head of House Oswald

Hi, I am Esme, as the Head of Oswald my objective for this year as a Senior Prefect is to work with the other Oswald Prefects to highlight our house values, courage and integrity.

Whilst taking part in this responsibility I want to enhance my role as a leader and making everyone feel as if they can let their voice be heard. With supporting Mrs Senior in this opportunity, my time here at All Saints seeing past Prefects take on this form of position has inspired me to also make a change like them. 

Additionally, in this role, I can assist new pupils whilst their adjustment into secondary school.  In this position I aim to create an environment for everyone which is supportive but yet empowering. Over the course of Year 10, I decided to develop my skills of support to Year 7’s by becoming a Peer Mentor and giving that extra comfort to students who may feel disconnected at the start of their journey here at All Saints. 

I applied for this role because I’ve always admired the way past prefects have led with kindness, responsibility, and determination. I’m especially looking forward to working alongside Mrs Senior and supporting her in continuing to make Oswald House a place where every student can feel heard and respected.
