National Apprenticeship Week 2022
The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2022 is “Build the Future” as we encourage everyone to consider how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and employers to develop a workforce with future ready skills.
You will be aware that the last 2 years have been extremely challenging and our employment landscape has changed significantly. As we move forward and COVID-19 restrictions are eased and we begin to build our 'Brexit' economy there are many, many exciting employment prospects being created and as we saw in 2021 we need to "Build Back Better".
TRAIN - employers need to future proof their workforce to ensure that their organisations have the skills at hand to allow future growth.
RETRAIN - Apprenticeships gain the skills and knowledges that organisations need. YOu learn the values of business and how to make a positive impact. This will allow you to develop further and gain career progression.
ACHIEVE - Apprenticeships help you to realise the business benefits and career progression available and through apprenticeship programmes be able to transform your future.
NAW is all about raising the profile of apprenticeships and helping students to realise the wealth of opportunity that exists in today's workplace. There are many varied careers that can be access through apprenticeship programmes and it is worth exploring these opportunities.
