Last week I was reminded of ‘Thankful Thursday’ when I received a few notes from Miss Brooks and her new tutor group who had been reflecting on why they were thankful.

This set me to thinking. So, we are now about to start week four of the Autumn term and I am thankful so many things.

I am thankful that most of our students and staff returned safely in September and we pray for those who have not been able to return yet. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

I am thankful that the children of All Saints have all return with a great enthusiasm for being back in their classrooms, engaging in their learning.

I am thankful that our new year 7 students are settling into school life without issue and more importantly reporting how happy they are to be with us.

I am thankful that the weather has been kind to us as we are spending more time outside!

I am thankful to the whole school community for their kindness and consideration of each other as we learn, together, to live with our new normal.

Finally ‘Thank you’ to our parents/carers for the continued support you have shown the Academy since we returned.
