Working Together

Posted on June 18th 2019

How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!

Psalm 133:1

The last few days and weeks have shown this to be true and we congratulate the students and staff as they work hard together to promote this unity.

GCSE exams finished this week and the students are now having a well-deserved rest before starting their ablutions in preparation for the prom next Wednesday evening.  We have been impressed by the way in which they have conducted themselves throughout all the exams and look forward to seeing them at Wynyard Hall. They then have the summer to wait until they can see the rewards for their efforts, results day is Thursday 22 August.

At the other end of the school, Year 7 and 8s began their first set of exams at All Saints. We have attempted to balance the pressure of exams by organising a programme of activities too. This week began with many of the students attending a ‘Bushcraft’ activity camp near Castle Howard while the remaining students have been driving around the Yorkshire Dales visiting our primary schools to work on a cross-phase wellbeing project. One of the Headteachers said our students were ‘An absolute pleasure...’ while another said what ‘polite and respectful young people’ they were, and how brilliant they were with the primary children.
